Sign Your Advance Directive Electronically!
TexasLivingWill.org
now offers you and your witnesses the option to sign your advance
directive documents electronically.
In Step 13 of the interview, simply make sure that “Request
Digital Signature from Your Witnesses” is checked and an email
will be sent to your witnesses. In Step 14, you can electronically
sign your advance directive. Please note that you should electronically
sign your advance directive in the presence of your two witnesses.
If you’ve also chosen to make your advance directive searchable
by driver’s license number, then you have successfully stored
your advance directive on TexasLivingWill.org.
Or you can make sure the box is unchecked and print out your advance
directive for your signature and those of your witnesses or notary
public.
